If you’re on the south side of Cheyenne, do your laundry today if you want to keep your clothes looking good. Tomorrow, the BOPU crews will open the valves on the new 12 mile long, 42” water main to start delivering the water that will no doubt have some rust and discoloration in it.

It’s okay for drinking, but it can put sediment into your water heater and add some discoloration to your clothes in the washing machine. If you run your tap for about 15 minutes, it should turn clear. I think it would be smart to use it through your sprinklers.

Here’s a minute of inspiration to wash your clothes by, courtesy of Joe Walsh, doing The All Night Laundromat Blues. Enjoy!
