Drug Take Back Day Saturday

The Laramie County Sheriff’s Department will be participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, according to spokesman Gerry Luce. He says the event is designed to allow for the disposal of the drugs in an environmentally safe manner. It also keeps the drugs out of the hands of people who may abuse them. Luce says the event is planned for 10am until 2pm on Saturday. There will be three different locations for the drop off, including Town and Country Pharmacy at 514 South Greeley Highway, Fire District #2 at 5800 North College  Drive, and the Burns Town Hall on Main Street in Burns. Luce says no illegal street drugs will be accepted.
