Drunk Woman Drives To Wyoming Police Station, Turns Herself In For DUI
The Campbell County Sheriff's Department had an unexpected visitor early Monday morning when a woman showed up at the station to turn herself in for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 33-year-old woman arrived at the Sheriff's office in Gillette around 2:30 a.m. She then told a deputy that she had driven to the station and asked to be arrested. After she failed a field sobriety test, she was charged with DUI.
"I don’t know that I have ever seen that before,” Campbell County Sheriff Scott Matheny told County 17.
The woman's blood-alcohol level was said to be "well over" the legal limit.
