Eagles & Jimmy Buffett To Play Denver Concert
Get ready for a powerhouse combination concert featuring two of music’s iconic acts, together again.
Jimmy Buffett was the opening act for the Eagles in 1976 and said that slot launched his career. In fact, it was Jimmy who inducted The Eagles into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Jimmy Buffett will open for The Eagles, who lost co-founder, singer, guitarist, writer and performer Glenn Frey in 2016. Glenn is solid rock royalty and his music will live on, as it should.
Since Frey’s passing, the Eagles have performed a couple of shows that had Glenn’s son Deacon as well as country veteran Vince Gill filling the void.
The positive reception of the music has convinced the Eagles to do more shows, including Denver.
"It sure feels good to play our music for people again, and they know the words better than we do."
-Joe Walsh told the Las Vegas Sun
That includes a mile-high show with The Eagles and Jimmy Buffett on Thursday, June 28th @ Coors Field in Denver, Colorado
