Are you thinking of doing something different with your yard?

Find out how you can turn your flower garden into food at a lecture Tuesday, July 8, in the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Library at 6:30 p.m.

The 'Edible Landscaping Lecture' is part of Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power's 'Summer of Power' program presented throughout the season at the library, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens and their Paul Smith Children's Village.

On Tuesday, view a presentation on how to maximize the physical space in your yard. The free lecture will explain how you can transition your home landscape from ornamental flowers to edible plants and vegetables.

Coming up the next Tuesday, July 15, an 'Edible Landscaping Garden Tour' will be offered at the Paul Smith Children's Village where you can see, smell and maybe even taste some of the edible plants grown in Lions Park.

Do you grow a garden that you can eat from at your place? What do you like to plant?
