As of the end of business on Monday, October 15, 8 percent of Laramie County registered voters had cast ballots for the 2018 General Election, according to Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee.

She said 2,153 people had voted early in the Atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex, an average of 135 per day. Another 1,461 people who had asked for absentee ballots had also cast ballots.

Lee said her office had mailed out 2,914 absentee ballots as of Monday night. That number already far exceeds the total of 1,661 absentee ballots mailed out in 2014 and the 1,486 mailed out during the 2010 general election campaign.

The last day for early voting is Monday, Nov. 5, and the General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
