Former Cowboy Larry Nance Jr. Is Going To Cleveland
Larry Nance Jr. is getting an opportunity to go home. The former Wyoming Cowboys star has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Nance will get a chance to play for one of the franchises his dad played for during his playing career. Nance Sr. was with Cleveland from 1988-1994.
Nance Jr. was part of a four-player swap between the Lakers and Cavaliers before Thursday’s NBA trading deadline. The deal was announced by NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Nance Jr. has played in 42 games this season and is averaging career-highs of 8.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, along with 1.4 assists per contest. He was the 27th overall pick out of Wyoming in the 2015 NBA Draft. Nance Jr. was born in Akron, OH and attended Revere High School in nearby Richfield, OH. Cleveland is only 46 minutes away from Akron.
