FOOTBALL IS BACK! I couldn't be more excited. It was so nice to watch an NFL game on TV again. After months of uncertainty, football has finally returned. And it is not just the games I'm excited for. I am also looking forward to testing out some new game day treats.

When it comes to game day food. My stomach usually leans on anything with cheese, salt, meat or chili. Or many different combinations of cheese, salt, meat and chili. Maybe it is time to try something different? Maybe something that won't raise my blood pressure, cholesterol and odds of dying of a massive coronary. How about something on the healthier side of things? How about something with a little fall flavor? How about Apple Nachos?

It may not be much healthier than cheese nachos, but it is a sweet spin on your game day favorite.

Thanks to Delish for the great game day recipe.
