Hundreds of flights flying into Denver International Airport have been cancelled due to weather and intermittent power outages.

According to Denver7, at least 243 flights were completely cancelled Wednesday. So if you're planning to pick someone up from the airport today, be sure to check their airline's flight status.

Power briefly went out early Wednesday, too, putting a halt to the trains. Xcel Energy is currently working to handle those intermittent power outages caused by the spring storm.

DIA crews are preparing for 6 to 12 inches of snow at the airport, along with wind gusts of up to 46 mph.
