Wyoming Basketball Releases Complete 2026-27 Schedule

LARAMIE -- The Border War lives on.

Well, partially.

Though Wyoming and Colorado State won't play twice annually because of the latter's move to the reimagined Pac-12 Conference, they have one meeting scheduled for Dec. 11 inside Moby Arena in Fort Collins.

The Cowboys will host seven non-conference games, including the opener Nov. 3 against Regis. The highlight of the early slate is a rare trip to Chapel Hill where Sundance Wicks' veteran squad will take on blue blood North Carolina. That tilt is set for Nov. 10.

The Pokes and Tar Heels have met only once. That was a 90-74 UNC win in the second round of the 2003 NIT.

Wyoming will also be one of four teams to participate in the Sunshine Slam Tournament Nov. 22-24 in Daytona Beach Fla. Duquesne is first on the docket, followed by a meeting with Kent State.

The Cowboys open conference play inside the Arena-Auditorium Jan. 2 against visiting Nevada before hitting the road for back-to-back road tilts at Mountain West newcomer UTEP and Grand Canyon, respectively.

The annual conference tournament in Las Vegas is scheduled for March 10-13 inside the Thomas and Mack Center.
