LARAMIE -- A pair of will participate in the NFL Combine this week, as offensive tackle Frank Crum and linebacker Easton Gibbs will be representing the Brown and Gold. Gibbs will test with the linebackers on Thursday with Crum going on Sunday.

It marks the first time since 2017 when Chase Roullier and Brian Hill participated that Wyoming has had two representatives.

The NFL Scouting Combine is a pivotal step in the prospect journey from amateur athlete to NFL Pro. This key stop before the NFL Draft provides an exciting opportunity for fans to witness the future talent of the NFL up-close before prospects find their new team.

NFL Scouting Combine Live Drills begins Thursday, February 29th, with exclusive LIVE coverage on NFL Network starting at 1pm MT. Full lineup below:

* Thursday, February 29th, 1pm MT – Defensive Linemen, Linebackers

* Friday, March 1st, 1pm MT – Defensive Backs, Tight Ends

* Saturday, March 2nd, 11am MT – Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs

* Sunday, March 3rd, 11am MT – Offensive Linemen

Crum recently completed his sixth season as a member of Wyoming Football program in 2023. A native of Laramie, Wyo., Crum started 48 of 55 career games he played at Wyoming. He played right tackle for the majority of his college career before moving to left tackle for his final season. Crum earned numerous awards during his college playing career, including:
• Earning First Team All-Mountain West honors in 2023 from MW head coaches and media
• Being named First Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele in 2023
• Achieving Third Team All-Mountain West Honors in 2022 from Pro Football Focus (PFF)

He helped lead Wyoming to four bowl games during his playing career and three bowl championships, including the 2019 Arizona Bowl Championship, the 2021 Famous Idaho Bowl Championship, an appearance in the 2022 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl and the 2023 Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl Championship.

The Wyoming native completed his bachelor's degree in finance from Wyoming in May of 2022 and completed his MBA from UW in May 2023. Crum was named to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society in 2023 for his academic achievements. Crum earned Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors five consecutive seasons.

Gibbs concluded his Wyoming career ranked No. 8 in school history in total tackles with 362 career tackles. He finished the 2023 season ranked No. 13 among all active Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) players in total tackles, with 362. Gibbs was named First Team All-Mountain West Conference in 2023 by MW Coaches and Media, Pro Football Focus and Phil Steele. Gibbs was also named to Preseason Watch Lists for the Chuck Bednarik Award (Nation's Outstanding Defender), Bronko Nagurski Trophy (Nation's Best Defensive Player) and Butkus Award (Nation's Best Linebacker.) He was also named First Team All-Mountain West in 2022 by MW Head Coaches and Media and Phil Steele.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.
