He was from Ontario, Canada, but his impact on Wyoming was quite substantial.

His name is Graham Greene, and you know him from many movies and TV shows over nearly fifty years, including Dances with Wolves, Wind River, and Longmire. Just to name a few.

His face is one that's been a part of my generation's movies and shows, and I'm sad to report that Graham Greene passed away at the age of 73 after a long battle with illness, leaving a massive hole in Hollywood.

If the part called for a Native American, you could certainly bet that Graham was in consideration.

In an Instagram post dedicated to the late actor, Yellowstone actor Gil Birmingham calls Graham "an incredible talent, who made a positive impact on Native American representation in film, inspiring a new generation of Native actors."

His range in character was broad; he could play the goofy conman like Malachi Strand in Longmire. The tough cop who's been through and seen a lot of heartache, like his Wind River Reservation police chief Ben, in Taylor Sheridan's "Wind River."

His IMDb page shows over 180 pieces of work for Graham, and still, there are eight more that are completed and waiting for release.

The world lost a great actor, and our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans as they begin a life without Graham Greene in it.
