If you're on social media, you've seen tons of reels with people trying to convince you they have found the most helpful hacks. Often, you'll see the same hacks from different people who claim it's their hack, which is usually not the case.

As soon as I hear:

OMG, guys, I've found the best hack to make your life easier.

I automatically scroll on or throw my phone across the room. Very rarely is there a video that catches my attention enough to watch it all the way through, but it's happened.

On the 4th of July, I was scrolling through my social media and stumbled upon the Health With Cory Instagram page, where I watched his 4th of July grilling hacks.

Obviously, these aren't just grilling hacks for the 4th of July, but they're good for anytime you're firing up the grill.

Here are the hacks Cory shared:

  1. Pour water onto your propane tank, and you can check the level by looking for the cold spot.
  2. You can use an onion to clean your grill, eliminating the need for a grill brush.
  3. Use a potato to make your grill non-stick.
  4. Adding an ice cube to your burger will help keep it from drying out, making it juicier.
  5. Using a skewer for your hot dogs will make turning them easier.

I'm usually not a sucker for videos like this, but dadgumit, this one got me. I felt like sharing it with you may help you when you're grilling.
