
PLAN NOW – July 4th Celebrations Across Wyoming
July 4th will be here before you know it. Plus, this is the 250th anniversary of our great nation. This would be a good time to start making plans, wherever you might be in the Cowboy State.
I'm sure every Wyoming local community will have something. Here are some of the highlights.
Cheyenne (Capital City Celebration)
- Parade: 9:00 AM Patriotic Parade downtown.
- Events: Food trucks and family activities begin at noon at the Capitol Complex, featuring live music and a 1 p.m. ceremony with a flyover.
- Fireworks: Finale at 9:45 PM, with best viewing at Lions Park.
Jackson Hole & Teton Village
- Parade: 10:00 AM parade through downtown Jackson.
- Music & Food: "Red, White & Tunes" in Teton Village (July 3–5) with free concerts.
- Fireworks: Dual displays at 10:00 PM at both Snow King Mountain and Teton Village.
- Rodeo: Jackson Hole Rodeo on July 4th at 8 p.m..
Cody Stampede
- Rodeo: The 100th annual Cody Stampede runs July 1–4, featuring nightly PRCA rodeos.
- Events: Parades on Sheridan Ave (July 2, 3, 4), a craft fair, and music in City Park.
- Fireworks: July 4th at 10 p.m..
Other Major Celebrations
- Laramie: "Freedom Has a Birthday" at Washington Park (10 a.m.–4 p.m.) with fireworks at 10 p.m..
- Gillette: 4th of July Celebration with a parade, 4-mile run, and fireworks.
- Casper: Fireworks at the Ford Wyoming Center.
- Devils Tower: Fireworks with the monument as a backdrop, plus music and food on July 4th.
