Farkas says a Dodge Nitro was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a Jeep Gladiator Mojave.

"The driver and passenger of the Dodge sustained serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center," Farkas told KGAB Radio.

"No injuries were reported from the occupant of the Jeep," she added.

Farkas says driver impairment and excessive speed are being looked at as possible contributing factors.
