Warrants

The detective says Dillon had several warrants, including one out of Laramie County Circuit Court for child endangering - drugs, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both; and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, both crimes punishable by up to one year in jail, up to a $1,000 fine, or both.

The crimes are alleged to have occurred on or about Dec. 11, 2025.

Initial Court Appearance

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Dillon was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.

He was also seen on a under the influence of a controlled substance charge, a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail, up to a $750 fine, or both.

That crime is also alleged to have occurred on or about Dec. 11, 2025.

Dillon told Williams he filled out an affidavit for a public defender, but Williams said she'd have to take a look at it to see if he qualified for one.

She then set his preliminary hearing for Friday, Jan. 30, at 9:45 a.m., and asked for the state's position regarding bond.

"The state's going to be recommending $25,000 cash," the state said. "I've read the booking sheet, indicates a history of failures to appear, I don't have dates on those, but I think due to the nature of this crime and the other two crimes that are charged in addition to the child endangering indicate that there is some concern for the safety of the community."

"This is a felony and I think especially the drug use requires a cash bond in this matter," the state added.

Bond Set at $15K Cash

"Based on the nature of the offense and then the danger to the community, which would specifically be the alleged victim in this case, and the prior history of failing to appear, the court's going to set your bond at $15,000 cash," Williams told Dillon. "If you post that, I'll set bond conditions."

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
