A wanted Cheyenne man is behind bars after reportedly leading law enforcement on a chase through Cheyenne Thursday night.

According to a booking sheet, it all started when a deputy with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office contacted 44-year-old Michael Isreal Robin Sr. in the 600 block of Logan Avenue.

Robin was being sought on two felony warrants.

The first was out of Laramie County District Court for probation violation with an original charge of felony possession of a controlled substance and was signed by Judge Robin Cooley on April 11, 2024.

The second was out of Larimer County, Colorado for failure to appear for sentencing on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Chase Ends in Crash, Wanted Cheyenne Man's Arrest

The deputy says Robin was in a vehicle and attempted to flee, but he was located and taken into custody after crashing the vehicle and trying to escape on foot.

Robin was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for injuries he suffered in the crash and then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrants.
