Cheyenne Police Chase Down Suspected Motorcycle Thief
A 19-year-old Carpenter man is facing charges, including a felony theft charge, after allegedly stealing a motorcycle then leading police on a foot pursuit through northeast Cheyenne.
According to a booking sheet, police were called to a townhouse in the 6500 block of Painted Rock Trail at 10:42 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, in reference to a motor vehicle theft.

Stolen Motorcycle Leads to Foot Pursuit
Police say a stolen motorcycle was located at the home and when they attempted to contact the residents, a male, later identified as D.C. Remington Cathcart, exited the back door.
The officer watching the back door says he yelled at Cathcart to stop, and Cathcart looked at him and went back inside.
He says a few minutes later, Cathcart exited the back door again, and when he yelled at him to stop, Cathcart looked at him, said, "F--- you," and took off running westbound.
Cathcart Arrested, Charged With Felony Theft
Police say Cathcart was apprehended in the side yard of a home in the 4300 block of Woodcrest Avenue after a short pursuit and search.
When asked why he ran, Cathcart reportedly told police, "I don't know."
Cathcart was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center and subsequently charged with felony theft, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
He was also charged with interference with a peace officer - no injury, a misdemeanor.
Bond Set at $1.5K Cash
Cathcart made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, April 15, during which his bond was set at $1,500 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday, April 24, at 2 p.m.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
