$15K Cash Bond Set for Cheyenne Felon Caught With Gun, Drugs
A 37-year-old Cheyenne felon is facing multiple felony charges after police say they caught him speeding with a loaded gun on him and drugs in his SUV.
10 MPH Over the Speed Limit
According to a booking sheet, Corey Michael Thacker was pulled over in the area of West College Drive and South Parsley Boulevard at 7:23 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, after police clocked him doing 60 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone.

K-9 Sniff Leads to Fentanyl, Meth
Police say Thacker didn't have a driver's license or proof of insurance on him, and as they were checking his driving status, a certified drug detection K-9 conducted a free-air sniff of Thacker's SUV and alerted them to the presence of controlled substances.
Police say when they asked Thacker to step out of the SUV, he told them there was a loaded handgun on his right side, and they removed a loaded Ruger LCP .380 from his right side.
When police searched the SUV, they reportedly found 31.52 grams of fentanyl and 13.47 grams of methamphetamine.
Felon With a Gun
Police say a criminal history check showed Thacker was convicted of felony assault with a motor vehicle in New Jersey in 2016.
Thacker Charged With 3 Felonies
Thacker was arrested and subsequently charged with three felonies, including possession of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, and felon in possession of a firearm.
Bond Set at $15K Cash
