Drug Suspect Rams Fort Collins Police Cars, Three Other Vehicles

A Fort Collins woman is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly ramming a total of five cars as she sought to escape from police recently.

That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.

According to the post, the incident started with a request for a welfare check on a woman who was passed out in a running vehicle in the 800 Block of City Park Avenue. When police contacted the vehicle they saw drug paraphernalia inside.

Police asked the woman to leave the vehicle, but she instead rammed two police cars and three other vehicles nearby before fleeing the scene. They found her unoccupied vehicle not far away and were able to issue a warrant for the woman's arrest.

With help from the Criminal Impact Unit and the SWAT team, she was arrested two days later. Police did not identify the woman.
