UPDATE: The evacuation order has now been lifted, according to a post on the Albany County Sheriff Facebook page:

Albany County, Wyoming
The fire is now contained, and the GO evacuation order has been lifted. Residents in the affected areas can safely return home.
We are thankful that no structures were lost… except, of course, the poor trampoline that decided to take a little adventure. First responders will remain in the area in case any hot spots flare up.
A huge thank you to our community for your patience and cooperation, and to all the Albany County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Albany County Fire District Crews, Albany County, WY Emergency Management, Road & Bridge teams, and Laramie Fire Department who worked tirelessly to keep everyone safe.

At this time, no structures have been lost… except for one rogue trampoline that decided to take flight. Approximately, 32 acres have burned.
Everyone in the affected area has been notified either by phone or door to door. Please stay out of the area and give first responders room to work.
Thank you to all of the firefighters, deputies, EMA, and responding agencies working hard to keep our community safe. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation.

The Tate Geological Museum Casper Wyoming

The Tate Geological Museum was founded in 1980 through a gift from Marion and Inez Tate. It was originally designated as the Tate Earth Science Center and Mineralogical Museum. Because ‘geological’ encompasses earth science, mineralogy, and paleontology, the name was changed to the Tate Geological Museum in 2001.

Located on the Casper College campus, the museum is a great resource for the community. Many local schools and groups come to the museum to add to their student's learning experience.

Tate houses a collection of over 6000 fossil and mineral specimens.
