Two Feet Of Snow, 35 MPH Winds Possible In SE Wyoming Mountains
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for the elevations of southeast Wyoming on Tuesday and Wednesday [Nov. 27 and 28].
The agency posted the following on its website: ''A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges until 11 AM Wednesday for heavy snow and total snow accumulations of 12 to 24 inches. Winds could gust up to 35 mph. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Southwest Carbon County until 8 AM Wednesday for total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, and for the South Laramie Range from 2 PM today to 11 AM Wednesday for 2 to 4 inches, and for the North Snowy Range Foothills until 11 AM Wednesday for 2 to 5 inches.''
