Up to a foot of mountain snow combined with winds gusting as high as 50 mph could make for dangerous travel along portions of I-80 in southeast Wyoming tonight.
Those traveling between Cheyenne and Laramie early Wednesday will likely have to contend with blowing snow and 55 mph wind gusts near the Interstate 80 Summit.
The westbound lanes of I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie remain closed, as crews work to reopen roughly 250 miles of highway between Laramie and Rock Springs.
This activity may produce several inches of snow through mid-morning, resulting in icy/snow covered roads and very low visibilities, according to the National Weather Service.
