Another Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8 PM Saturday to 5 PM Sunday for an additional 5 to 10 inches of snowfall with blowing snow and winds gusting up to 60 mph.
Lingering travel impacts could last as long as Thursday across many portions of the region and even Friday for portions of I-80 west of Laramie to Rawlins.
Another round of snow is expected to hit the mountains of southeast Wyoming late tonight through early Saturday morning, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
Four to 10 inches of snow coupled with winds gusting as high as 55 mph could make for whiteout conditions in the Sierra Madres Wednesday through Thursday.
