Kaysen Says Developer Interested in Belvoir Ranch

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the city continues to speak with a developer who may want to lease at least part of the Belvoir Ranch for a wind energy development. The mayor says the conversations have been going on for a while, but he declined to name the developer or specifics of a possible agreement other than to say the developer is interested in leasing the western portion of the ranch for a possible wind energy project. Kaysen says the developer is only one of a number of individuals or companies who have contacted the city in recent weeks about possible business ventures in the Cheyenne area.
