Loader Stolen from South Cheyenne Construction Site

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole a multi terrain loader from a construction site in the 1500 block of E. Allison Road.

Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Warner says a 2014 Caterpillar 257D, similar to the one pictured, was taken sometime between 4 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 7.

"The guy paid around $80,000 for it," said Warner. "I don't know how many hours he had on it or anything like that, but looking at them used they're around $50,000."

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
