A California man is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 90 near Sundance earlier this week.

David Segal, 57, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to a report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Segal was driving a Toyota Tundra eastbound on I-90 at roughly 7:30 p.m. Monday when the pickup truck exited the roadway into the median. Segal overcorrected to the right, then again overcorrected back to the left.

The Toyota again left the pavement and entered the median, where it rolled several times before coming to a rest in the westbound lanes.

Driver inattention is being investigated as a possible contributing factor.

The road surface was dry and weather was clear at the time, according to the report.
