Before David Bowie’s passing at the beginning of the year, City Winery’s Michael Dorf organized tribute concerts in New York City featuring Laurie Anderson, the Mountain Goats and other artists in the singer’s honor. Now, more names have been added to the docket for those upcoming shows.

The Music of David Bowie tribute concerts will take place at Carnegie Hall on March 31 and Radio City Music Hall on April 1. The lineup also includes R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe; the Pixies; Cat Power; Blondie; Debbie Harry; Amanda Palmer, Jherek Bischoff and Anna Calvi (who just dropped an EP of Bowie covers); the Roots; Mumford and Sons; Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson; the Donny McCaslin Group (comprised of McCaslin, Mark Guiliana and Jason Lindner, who worked on Bowie’s last album Blackstar); Bette Midler; and Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell. Bowie’s longtime producer and collaborator Tony Visconti will serve as bandleader and musical director for the shows.

The concerts will benefit a number of charities, including Young Audiences New York, Little Kids Rock, Church Street School of Music, the Center for Arts Education, the American Symhony Orchestra and Grammy in the Schools. Find more details right here.
