‘Monty Python’s Spamalot’ Plays Cheyenne Civic Center Wednesday, November 30
Are you a fan of "Monty Python's Flying Circus"?
If you've enjoyed the television show or any of the British comedy troupes' movies, you're sure to like the stage production of "Monty Python's Spamalot" coming to the Cheyenne Civic Center on Wednesday, November 30.
The ads call it just what it is, "a new musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail.'"
The show won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2005. "Monty Python's Spamalot" features an entirely new score by Eric Idle and John Du Prez.
The musical features King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table and includes commentary on Broadway shows. Many of Monty Python fan's favorite songs are performed, like "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" (from the movie "Life of Brian") and "Knights of the Round Table."
If you miss "Monty Python's Spamalot" at the Cheyenne Civic Center, it's playing at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins on Thursday and Friday nights, December 1 and 2, with two shows on Saturday, December 3.
