Tailgating is better at 7,220 feet, according to a new YouTube video showcasing Wyoming football fans pre-gaming in the parking lot at War Memorial Stadium.

Spectator Behavior is a sports vlog that travels to college football stadiums around the country spotlighting the local traditions that make each venue, and its fans, unique.

Wyoming's gameday rituals include mascot Pistol Pete riding on an old west stagecoach, family-friendly activities inside the football practice facility, and a chance to meet the players and coaches as they walk from the team hotel through tailgate alley to the locker room.

"We meet new people from all over the state and alumni from all over the country," one fan said. "Once they come, they want to come back."

"We're family, Wyoming is family, Wyoming football is family," another fan added.
