New Wyoming Gun Company Set For Grand Opening

Weatherby Inc. is finally ready to make their new home in Sheridan, Wyoming, according to Ammoland.

The state of California has been home to Weatherby Inc. since 1945. Just recently they decided to make a new home in the Cowboy State. The company first got its name on the scene with their magnum cartridges. Then the company became well-known for making guns to the specification of the customer. Eventually, the founder Roy Weatherby, made all types rifles, shotguns, and ammo.

“California represents a rich history and an established legacy that I never want to forget or take for granted. Wyoming, on the other hand, now represents a bright and promising future for Weatherby. People often ask me why we made the move. Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin.”, Adam Weatherby told Ammoland.

The grand opening of the new facility will take place Thursday, June 13th. Weatherby wants to invite anyone who can come and be a part of this historic event. The grand opening will take place at 9 am and go until 2 pm. There will be live auctions, raffles, live music, and of course the ribbon cutting.
