NHL Star Kevan Miller Goes Behind The Chutes At Cheyenne Frontier Days
Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan "The Killer" Miller is one of the toughest guys in the NHL, but even a hockey player isn't crazy enough to take on a bull. Miller was hanging out behind the chutes at Cheyenne Frontier Days with week with stars from PBR Last Cowboy Standing.
"This is the Daddy of ‘Em All," Miller told PBR.com. "Big rodeo and definitely one I wanted to see.”
It was the first PBR event for Miller and his wife, but not his first rodeo. He grew up in cowboy boots and his brother is a team roper. Miller has dealt with some rough customers on the ice, but after seeing the bull riders in person, he left with even more respect for the sport.
"These guys are world-class athletes and they truly are some tough guys," he said. "It has to take a lot of athleticism to ride those bulls, for sure. Especially when you’re able to see it up close like this. It’s incredible.”
Before the PBR event, Miller and his wife toured Frontier Park and posted a "date night" pic on Instagram.
