Partnership Could Be Operational by Late Summer
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Vice President for Marketing Leigh West says a partnership between CRMC and Wyoming Medical Center in Casper could be up and running as soon as the latter part of this summer. The two hospitals this week signed a formal letter of intent to explore the partnership, to be known as ‘Wyoming Solutions’. West says the letter of intent is a legal document that formally brings the two sides together in exclusive, good-faith discussions. She says those discussions will cover a number of areas, including investment in cutting-edge technology and physician recruitment. The signing of the letter of intent follows a recent vote by both hospital boards to explore a partnership. Although the initial partnership will include only CRMC and Wyoming Medical Center, West says their is a possibility other health-care providers in the state could eventually join ‘Wyoming Solutions’ as well.
