Photos Show What Halloween Was Like in Wyoming 100 Years Ago
Ever wondered how Wyoming families celebrated Halloween 100 years ago? Thanks to the Wyoming State Archives, we can travel all the way back to 1915.
This photo was taken 101 years ago at a Halloween party in Cheyenne. If you look closely, you'll notice the homemade decorations and costumes.
This picture was taken at the school house in Moskee, Wyoming. Although we don't the exact date, Moskee was a mining town that boomed in the 1920s and 1930s. The mill was closed before World War II and Moskee has been a ghost town ever since.

This photo features former Wyoming Governor John Hickey and his sons John and Paul. It was likely taken at the Governor's Mansion between 1959 and 1961.
