Pine Bluffs High School Headbangers Shred At WYO Hoops Tournament

The players weren't the only performers at the Wyoming State 1A/2A Basketball Tournament last weekend. Between games, Galactic Lemonz, a musical group featuring students from Pine Bluffs High School, shredded the Casper Events Center with rockin' renditions of two heavy metal anthems.

The thrash band features Jason on guitar, Jesse on bass, and Carson on drums. After warming up the crowd with a cover of Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell", the high school headbangers paid homage to Black Sabbath with an instrumental version of "N.I.B.".

Along with covers, the Galactic Lemonz have also written several original songs. In addition to performing at local talent shows and school activities, the band has rocked Cheyenne's Zombie Fest, the Chugwater Chili Challenge, and Denver's School of Rock.
