Playboy’s October Issue Selling for 60 Cents
When it hits newsstands on Friday, the retro October edition of Playboy will be selling for 60 cents.
The reduced price is a gimmick to promote the NBC show ‘The Playboy Club,’ which centers around the satin-costumed bunnies who worked in the famed nightspot during the sixties.
Laura Benanti, star of ’The Playboy Club’ is on the cover of the special edition and features include classic shots of the Playboy Clubs and their bunnies. Playboy’s editorial director Jimmy Jellinek calls the issue “a love letter to vintage Playboy.”
