Rare Speckled Moose Seen In Wyoming
The other day i noticed that the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation had posted a picture of a speckled moose that was seen and photograhed by Rick Friesen of Timmins, Ontario, Canada.

This was almost immediately followed by a pic from a fellow by the name of Kevin featuring a dappled moose seen in the Sunlight Basin outside of Cody and just east of Yellowstone.

Apparently a recessive albino gene does show up in moose and causes some color variations in 1 in 10,000 animals, making this one a one of a kind and more than an oddity in the Cowboy State.
