It may be fall, but the thermometer says otherwise. Even though we've already had our first snow, the temps lately have been on the high side for October.

On Tuesday, October 6, it was 87 degrees at DIA, and the last time it was this warm on October 6 was in 1975, when it was also 87 degrees.

While some are enjoying the milder fall weather, Colorado continues to have a handful of wildfires, and the high heat isn't helping. Cameron Peak Fire is burning west of Fort Collins and is one now one of the worst in Colorado history.

The Fort Collins area will reach the mid 80s throughout this week, dropping to the 70s on Saturday.
