Red Rocks Announces 24 Movies for ‘Film on the Rocks’ 2021

This summer, 21 movies will be shown drive-in style at Red Rocks, and three will be shown in the classic amphitheater of Colorado's iconic venue.

For the 21 'drive-in' shows at the Lower South parking lot, the venue will set up a 56-foot LED screen for folks to enjoy great movies from the comforts of their car. Tickets for each show will cost $59.50 per car, which includes popcorn, candy and pop.

For the three shows in the amphitheater, they will have limited seating and divide people between sections. Tickets are $16 per person; for $32 per person for a VIP ticket, you'll get reserved front-section seats.

With the 'drive-in' shows, buses, RVs, or any hitched vehicles are not permitted; only the amount of people that would legally ride in the vehicle should be in the vehicle.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. for each 'drive-in' movie night, with the film starting at 8:30 p.m.

For the amphitheater movies, the gates open at 6:30 p.m. with the films starting at 7:30 p.m.

The first movie will be a 'Drive-In' show on May 26, and the last show will be in the amphitheater on August 2.

I've not done this yet; but with 24 movies to chose from, I think this could definitely be a part of my summer of 2021, which I'm very much looking forward to.
