“I doubted if I should ever come back. I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”

- "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost, 1916

As long as you’re not hitchhiking, taking the road less traveled can be most rewarding. In 1926, it began in St. Paul, Minnesota and ended at Yellowstone National Park. We are focused on the 35 mile stretch of US Route 212, the least traveled road in Wyoming.

“The data whizzes at the GPS software firm Geotab did the math and put together an interactive map that showcases the least-traveled routes in each U.S. state.”

It is one of the most epic roads in North America with views carved by ice age glaciers and granite along with pristine snowfields and lakes through one of the most challenging mountain ranges in the lower 48, the Beartooth Range.
