Robot Survives Canada & Europe

Two weeks ago, some Canadians started an experiment to see if a ROBOT could hitchhike across America. It could answer simple questions and talk with a pleasant and clever personality.

It wanted to visit The Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore but unfortunately it wound up in Philadelphia last weekend, where people destroyed it, stole the electronics inside, and took its HEAD.

Hitchbot did well across Canada and parts of Europe, but it lasted just two weeks in the US.

Philadelphia may be the city of brotherly love, but robots, not so much
