The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of severe storms in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle on Sunday.

The main hazards expected with these storms are strong winds and large hail. The agency posted this statement on its website on Sunday:

''We have a marginal risk of severe storms in parts of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle this afternoon and evening. Large hail up to ping pong size and damaging winds are possible with a couple of these storms. Movement of these storms will generally be southeast at 15 to 20 mph."
