Shannon Tweed is a Canadian actress and model born on a March 10th and raised on a mink ranch. In 1978 she won the Miss Ottawa beauty pageant and went on the become third runner up in the Miss Canada Pageant.

Tweed was chosen Playmate Of The Month for Playboy magazine in November of 1981 and Playmate Of The Year in 1982. She has lived with Gene Simmons, the bass player from KISS, since the mid 80's.

She and Gene can be seen along with their two children, Nicolas and Sophie, on the A & E television network's program Gene Simmons: Family Jewels.
