Labor Day sales on televisions and electronics related to the start of football season, will be better around the start of November through Black Friday / Cyber Monday. This goes for home theater systems, smartphones, digital cameras, tablets, GPS navigators, etc.. Instead, go for remaining back-to-school electronics. Look for standard school supplies, inexpensive laptops, backpacks with laptop slots, Bluetooth speakers, calculators, and headphones.

Holiday airfare promotions are good now, but the best time to book your holiday travel for Thanksgiving and Christmas is usually early October (between Oct. 5 and Oct. 15) when ticket prices are roughly 5 – 10% lower, then will shoot back up after mid-October.
