Have you tried tubing at Snowy Range?

The Snowy Range Ski and Recreation area west of Laramie has cancelled tubing for tonight, February 21, due to high winds and blowing snow.This season, the Snowy Range Ski area offers tubing on most Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 9 p.m. There's no access to the ski lifts for tubers between 2 and 4 p.m.

Pricing for a 2-hour session under the lights on their 2-lane tubing hill between 4 and 9 p.m. is $20. For groups of three or more it's $18 per person and with a lift ticket purchase, the cost is $15. You may also buy an all-night pass for $35, with a discount to $30 for groups of three or more and it's $25 with the purchase of a lift ticket.

Helmets are recommended and are available to rent for $6. The tubes are supplied, no outside sleds, tubes or toboggans are allowed. Children 3 and under are not allowed on the tubing hill and those 4 and 5 years old can tube for free but must ride with an adult.

The tubing season runs through March 29th. Take a short drive and have some winter fun on the slopes at the Snowy Range Ski Area.
