Inspired by true Wyoming events, Cheyenne author and artist Chad Blakely has a new graphic novel, "Blood in Bitter Creek," ready to roll out. This tale of corrupt police, gangland violence, and an undercover cop who tried to bring it all down is from the creator of "Kidnapping Kevin Smith" and "The Con Job (Professional Thieves)

To self-publish, Chad needs $3,000 and has set up a fundraiser that includes some clever incentives from books to BBQ and beer.

You may have seen Blakely’s art at Pediatric Chemotherapy/Infusion center for kid's battling cancer at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Olympus Games and Comics, and DanielMark's brewery.
