Cheyenne police are still investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital last week.

The gunfire happened around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, near the 100 block of W. 5th Street.

Public Information Officer Alex Farkas says the victim, a 32-year-old man, was shot multiple times.

He was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and was listed in serious condition as of the last report.

"The case is still open and under investigation," Farkas told KGAB Radio on Wednesday. "We do not have an update to provide at this time."
