It's been 16 weeks since a 32-year-old man was gunned down on Cheyenne's south side, and police are still looking for the man they believe pulled the trigger.

The shooting took place around 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, near the 100 block of W. 5th Street.

Police say 30-year-old Cheyenne resident Jesus Franco-Ortiz is believed to have shot Isaac Romero multiple times, sending him to the hospital, before possibly fleeing to Mexico.

Franco-Ortiz is being sought on a warrant for attempted first-degree murder.
