Steven Adler reunited with Guns N' Roses onstage in Cincinnati tonight, performing "Out Ta Get Me" and "My Michelle" with his former bandmates Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.

Adler hasn't performed with Guns N' Roses since their troubled April 1990 appearance at Farm Aid, after which he was dismissed from the group for reportedly allowing his drug addiction to affect his performance both onstage and during the early recording sessions for the Use Your Illusion albums. Matt Sorum was hired as his replacement for those records and stayed with the group until 1997. After a decade of turnover at the position, and relative inactivity for the group, Frank Ferrer has been the band's drummer since 2006.

Guitarist Izzy Stradlin, McKagan and Slash all left the group in the three years following Adler's 1990 departure, leaving Rose as the sole remaining original member until earlier this year, when Slash and McKagan rejoined the band for what's humorously being called the Not in This Lifetime ... tour. It had been widely rumored that Adler, who has been working hard to maintain his sobriety in recent years, would rejoin the band in some capacity. Only time will tell if this brief reunion leads to a continued role for him on this tour.
