Study Finds That People Can’t Think Straight During Heat Waves

If you're one of those who has a hard time comprehending things when it's hot outside, well don't worry, you're not the only one. According to a recent Harvard study, heat waves scientifically make it difficult to think straight.

In the study, they found that students suffering through a heat wave in a dormitory without air-conditioning performed significantly lower on cognitive tests than those with AC. Conducted over the course of 12 days in the summer of 2016, the results of this study are a compelling case to protect against the heat in higher learning institutions.

And I have vivid memories of trying to put together a make-shift air conditioner using a box fan, a mini-fridge and a lot of duct tape when I was in college. Keeping your cool is really important to "keep your cool," and a good head on your shoulders.
